The Crane Wives: Beyond Beyond Beyond Tour
Do you remember your first concert? For a handful of people on Friday evening, The Crane Wives at St. Andrew’s Hall in Detroit was their first.
Guitarist/Vocalist Emilee Petersmark of The Crane Wives remembers hers - it was Michelle Branch at the very same venue they were performing at.
We love a full circle moment!
As a Fun Fact Friday [which I will argue with you that today is still Friday and not Saturday on the grounds of I haven’t slept yet], my Googling-skills say that Michelle Branch last played at St. Andrew’s Hall February 16th 2002.
Joining this tour was Icelandic Singer-Songwriter Arny Margret, who amazed us with a lovely acoustic set.
I personally think this was an excellent combination of bands - each had their own style but also blended well together.
Although I may be a little bit biased, I absolutely love anything remotely theatrical so when The Crane Wives’ set was starting and the dear darling deer came out with lanterns and was just generally eerie made for a moment of wonderment.
Enough words - it’s picture time!
